[Unicum] Day trip: wine tasting with picnic and Occoquan with arts and crafts festival

Dear all:

A few of us organized a day trip for the last weekend of September including a vineyard tour with picnic and the Town of Occoquan where there will be an arts and crafts show with life music!

We could start with the wine tasting to set the mood for the day and continue with the arts and crafts festival.
The vineyard is overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains, the arts and crafts festival is in the Town of Occoquan by the Potomac River, which is a small historic town
settled by native Indians.

Groupon offers a wine and picnic package for $34 for 2 people which includes a vineyard tour, wine making education class, picnic lunch (meat and cheese).

Please note this deal ends in in a few hours from now so if you are interested, get it now.
Also, reservations must be made a week in advance so we need to coordinate it with the Arts and Crafts show which is on Saturday and Sunday, September 29 and 30.

When we are done here, we would drive to the Town of Occoquan and check out the arts and crafts festival by the Potomac River and listen to some live music, have a pizza or happy hour.

Here are some photos from last year, it appears there was a farmer's market and they had baked goods too!
