Now Hiring: Fall Elections JOBS! Canvassers Wanted! 

WHAT IT IS 

Help build a progressive Virginia!

You will go door-to-door to try and mobilize progressive voters for the November 6th election. 

$11 per hour. 

WHEN 

Hiring Canvassers to start work on September 17th though election day.

PT and Full time positions available
Extra pay if you have a car
Must attend one of two 45 minutes trainings on Sept. 16th

DETAILS

Must be able to walk long distances and work outdoors in variable weather.

Must have dependable cell phone.

This job will require canvassers to arrive for work in several different locations across Northern Virginia, primarily in Herndon, Fairfax, and Leesburg

Weekday work hours are from 4 - 9pm. 

Saturday work hours are from 10am - 2:30pm.

Sunday work hours are from 2:30 - 7pm.

Election Day (Tuesday, November 6th) work hours vary, but canvassers must be available to work that full day, from 7am to 7pm.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: 

* People who like people! Outgoing and sociable people. 

* Hardworking 

* Punctual 

* Responsible 

* Self-Motivated 

* Able to walk and stand for several hours in a row 

* If you speak languages in addition to English, that's a plus!

* Previous Canvassing experience is a huge plus!!

* Drivers are also strongly desired
