Position Title: Executive Assistant to the President & CEO

Department: Office of the President & CEO

 

Primary Role

The Executive Assistant to the President & CEO is responsible for the overall administrative operations of the Office of the President. This includes coordinating with all members of staff and vendors on various projects, briefs, profiles, in addition to administrative support. In coordination with the Chief of Staff & Vice President of Strategy, the Executive Assistant will oversee the management of operations and direction of the organization through executing tasks given by the President & CEO.

                                                        

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

-          Operate as the confidential administrative support, gatekeeper, and primary point of contact for internal and external communications with other members of staff, the Board of Directors, Members of Congress, heads-of-state, Corporate Partner Members (CPM's), Hispanic Owned Business Enterprises (HBE's), local chambers of commerce and there executives, partners and prospective partners, civic organizations, special interest groups and associations.

-          Facilitate high level meetings with executives from corporate America and all over the United States, especially in Washington, D.C.

-          Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.

-          Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.

-          Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and booking all travel.

-          Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

-          Occasional travel required.

Knowledge and Skills

-          Proficient in Microsoft Office Operating System and all of its programs, especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.  

-          Demonstrated problem solving and people skills.

-          Strong communications skills.

-          Strong attention to detail.

Position Salary

$45,000    non-negotiable

Overview:

Greenberg Quinlan Rosner is an internationally recognized survey research firm specializing in public opinion polls and focus groups. Qualifications:

The candidate must have a bachelor's degree, some professional/internship experience and be a proactive self-starter who works well within a tight-knit team.  The candidate must be extremely well organized, and a creative thinker with a can-do attitude to go the extra mile.  Ideally, the candidate would have market research or political campaign experience, VAN proficiency, statistical software experience (STATA or SPSS), advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to learn new skills/software.  Spanish proficiency is a plus.

 

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously with superior prioritization skills, to work quickly, accurately and creatively under tight timelines and high pressure, with outstanding attention to detail.

Hogyan változna a kép, ha pl. egy robogó meg némi bútor is lenne a csomagban? Kell nekem személyesen vámolást bonyolítanom?
Előre is köszönöm a tippeket.

Could anyone advise how to efficiently move personal belongings (more than 2 suitcases) like books and small household items from Hungary to the US? It's about 180-280cu.ft. How would it change with a moped and some furniture added? Do I need to fool with customs personally?

One Hungarian's perspective on American culture

 

How difficult is it to integrate into a new culture? How does a Hungarian see Americans? Éva Trembácz's recently published book is based on the culture shock she experienced when moving to the United States 7 years ago.

The book titled 'Amerika! Visszaintegetsz?', which is available in Hungarian, was published in Budapest in July 2014 by Syllabux Publishing Company. All her proceeds go to support disadvantaged children living in deep poverty in Nyíregyháza, Hungary.

Kedves listatagok,

ha valakit erdekelne magyar ferfi neptanc tanulasa kernem jelezzen nekem.

Probalom felmerni, hogy mennyi eselyunk lenne egy ferfi tanccsoport beinditasahoz.

Amint tudjatok a noi csoport tavaly nagyon szepen szerepelt a kulonfele rendezvenyeken, de

igazan akkor lenne teljes a "kep" ha ez kiegeszulne velunk, ferfiakkal is.
