The Lists:
Goes to all SCOW members and friends. Anyone can publish information about sailing, SCOW events and anything of interest to the members of the club. Please keep submissions on-topic and please be friendly. The list serves as a healthy open discussion forum, with room to express differences of opinion, but discourse must be polite and respectful.
Please reply to the whole list ("reply all") *only* if your response is relevant to everyone, not just the author. Otherwise, please reply only to the person who sent the message. If you have more than one e-address, you can't post to the list from other than the one that receives the mail.
You can choose to receive a digest of the <all@scow.org> postings. It combines a days- or weeks-worth of posts into one message. You will get fewer e-mails but you may miss last minute opportunities, like, "I'm heading out at 4:00 today for cannon practice on a Flying Scot. Who wants to come?" This option, and others, such as reading the mailing list messages on the web, are available by joining Google Groups at http://groups.google.com/group/scow-all and editing your preferences.
Allows the SCOW board of directors to send messages to all club members and subscribers. Messages sent to this list are copied to <all@scow.org>. Only board members may post to this list. You can only reply to the sender.

This list allows you to receive *only* the SCOW newsletter, ChaNNels. You will not receive messages sent to <all@scow.org> or <notices@scow.org>.
