Pro-Bono Consulting Opportunities with the DC Social Innovation Project (DCSIP)

 

What is DCSIP?

The DC Social Innovation Project is 501(c)(3) organization that identifies and invests in creative, new ideas that tackle pressing social issues in Washington, DC. Through its Community Lab Grantees Program and Bright Ideas Challenge, DCSIP provides seed funding and a host of pro-bono services to help District non-profits grow and thrive.

 

Fall/Winter 2012 Management Consulting Engagements

Each grantee is offered pro-bono management consulting services from DCSIP volunteer consultants. Projects range 3-5 months in span with teams of 3-5 consultants depending on need. There are two projects currently being staffed for fall 2012. Brief details of the two grantee organizations below.

 

Food For Life: Food For Life uses food to educate and train low-income young adults in Washington, DC, empowering them to become change agents in their lives and communities

Upstart Foods: Upstart Foods is a social network for small food businesses located in Washington, DC

 

The DCSIP Consulting Corps is currently recruiting volunteer team leads (5+ years experience) and consultants (2+ years experience). Past experience in organization development strategy, operations strategy, and marketing a plus! Where: Public Bar Dupont, Lounge reserved for YCDC
