With gusting 15 knot winds, SCOW's newest cruiser Hiatus raced down the Chesapeake yesterday, ducked under the Bay bridge and sailed onto an anchor at Little Choptank River right beside James Islands.
What a view! There were so many stars piercing the sky that it was easy to draw constellations around them. For fun points, we set our anchor under sail instead of motor. Luis tossed the anchor over and ran the rode out as Deepak forced the heavy mainsail forward by the boom and power the large boat into reverse.
