Subject: [pcdc] 2012 Challenge Accepted Conference this weekend
To: pcdc@yahoogroups.com
Hi all,
I thought you might be interested in this event this weekend. Both the Obama and Romney campaigns will debate foreign policy during a panel called Conversation with the Presidential Campaigns: US Foreign Policy Priorities and the Power of Youth. Panelists include Kerry Healey, Special Advisor, Romney for President, and former Massachusetts Lt. Governor and Michèle Flournoy, Advisor to President Obama's re-election campaign on National Security.
On April 14-15, youth leaders and change makers will come together to debate the biggest foreign policy challenges facing us this election year. We're taking a hard look at security, jobs, climate change, the economy, global justice, hunger and more, and letting the candidates know how we feel. Setting a new course for our country is our great generational challenge.
Are you a young person who understands that the local is global? Are you frustrated with our political climate, and ready to make a noise so loud that it can't be ignored? Accept the challenge. http://www.acceptthechallenge2012.org/
Best,
Patricia Brooks
