DDC Advocacy is currently seeking an Account Director (non-sales) in our Services department. The Account Director will serve as the primary point of contact and the overall relationship manager for a number of DDC Advocacy customers. The person will oversee certain post-sale activities associated with the customer, and will be responsible for ensuring that customer projects are delivered on time and within budget. The person will also be responsible for maintaining the customer relationship, ensuring customer retention, account planning and consultation, and resolving product/business issues experienced by the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a single point of contact for customers on all new and existing initiatives
- Oversee multi-departmental delivery of customer projects and programs
- Consult with the customer to provide advice and guidance on the use and delivery of products and services
- Monitor customer market news to keep current on potential needs and trends
- Proactively gauge and ensure customer satisfaction
- Act as liaison between customers and the DDC Advocacy product development teams to bring new features to the market
- Track, measure, and monitor the customer's financials with DDC Advocacy
Qualifications:
- Proven track record managing customer relationships
- Experience interpreting and managing contracts and deliverables
- Strong Project Management skills particularly in multi-departmental settings
- Technical proficiency in web applications or SaaS business model
- Superior communication skills (presentation, written, verbal)
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience
- BA or BS degree required
- Experience in Government Affairs or Public Affairs a plus
- Experience in content management suites, CRM solutions and modern web technologies a plus
- Less than 5% travel required
