[SCOW] Wed Night Racing!

Hello,

Please come join us this Wed evening for Flying Scot racing. We will begin putting boats in the water at about 5:30 PM with a skipper's meeting about 6 PM. (Some members will be getting there later and will just be joining the races as they arrive and ready their boat. Therefore it's ok if you come later than 6. Just look for the next boat that is being rigged.) The weather should be a lot nicer by Wed, with calming winds and warmer temps. I will be running the races this week for Deepak who is out of town. Low tide will be at 6:30 PM and the high temp will be about 68 with predicted winds SW about 5 kts. WELCOME SPRING (for the third time this spring.)

Would you please RSVP to me (jimk4490@yahoo.com) if you plan on coming, and if so, if you are planning to skipper one of the 4 boats. Also your approx. arrival time please.

The purpose of this Wed night racing is to learn all aspects of racing in a friendly, safe and non-confrontational manner. We'll also discuss racing rules, spinnaker, boat handling and tactics during the skipper's meeting and then again when the boats are put away at the end of the evening. Please bring your questions.

Thanks and look forward to seeing you this Wed. Remember, please RSVP if you can.

Jim
