Whether you are making a pitch, presenting to a client, or delivering a formal speech, your business depends on your ability to speak clearly and effectively.

And as a PR professional, the stakes are even higher.

Join WWPR on April 18 from noon - 2pm for a brown bag lunch with Sarah Gershman, president of Green Room Speakers. This is the first of three events in our EntrePReneur series, formerly Executive Communicators.

In this lively and interactive session, you will gain a toolbox of concrete strategies that can be applied immediately - in any speaking setting. Learn how to hone your message - and use your voice and body language to make that message stick.

Not charismatic? No problem. Sarah will show you how to cultivate stage presence and connect with any audience.

As a fellow entrepreneur, Sarah will offer special tips on how to use your voice to communicate your company message and grow your business.

Sarah Gershman is an executive speech coach. She has trained executives and staff at a variety of multi-national companies, organizations and government agencies.

Her clients include: Microsoft, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, The U.S. Department of Treasury Executive Institute, The US Department of Justice, The Embassy of Canada, the Kauffman Foundation, the Hudson Institute, the Smith Richardson Foundation, the National Democratic Institute, the International Republican Institute, and HOK.

Sarah combines over 15 years of classroom teaching experience with a life-long background in theater.

Sarah is an adjunct professor of communications at the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

Price:

  • FREE for WWPR members and PRSA-NCC members
  • $10 for non-members
  • Join WWPR and Go! Membership $85

We hope to see you on April 18! Don't forget to bring your lunch.
