[SCOW] Reminder:SCOW Membership Meeting tomorrow April 9th

Hi Everybody,
 
We look forward to seeing many of you tomorrow at SCOW Membership meeting.  This meeting is open to everybody, members and non-members.  Please join us to socialize, learn about what happening in the club and the emergency responses on the water. 
Just like last Membership meeting, there will be a Door Prize drawing as well. 
 
Location is Capitol City Brewery in Shirlington.  SCOW has a reserved space behind the kitchen (left side from the entrance).  
 
6:30-7:30 Happy Hour and socialize
7:30-7:45 Club announcement
7:45-8:30 Emergency Preparedness on the Water (Earlier start than originally planned.) 
8:45 : Door prize raffle drawing.
 
Some of us will be there around 6pm. If you would like to come early please do.

Are you ready to respond when someone on your boat looks like having heat stroke?   Are you ready to respond when someone on your boat has other health emergency situations?  Do you know crew overboard procedures?   Please join us for the April Membership meeting to review the emergency responses on the water.     
 
Tom Vandenbosche, SCOW member, Boat Asset Committee Chair and Basic Sailing Instructor, who has Ski Patrol Credentials Outdoor Emergency Care (OEC) and Virginia Basic Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) credentials is our speaker to go over the emergency preparedness on the water!!! 
 
Location: Capitol City Brewery in Shirlington:  2700 South Quincy Street, Arlington,Virginia 22206
 
Time: 6:30 pm - 9 pm (plan to finish program by 8:30 pm)
 
Tentative meeting schedule: (you are welcome to join up any time during the meeting)
 
6:30pm -7:30 pm - Happy Hour and Socials (happy hour drink until 7pm, but SCOW get extended time for appetizers)
7:30pm - 8:00 pm Club announcement
8:00pm - 8:30 pm - Emergency Preparedness on the Water.
