Yeah... the weather report is looking great for our SCOW Maintenance Day on Saturday (High of 63° with low chance of rain).
Remember that our great Social Director Anna, will coordinate the coffee & bagels to help us get the day started and will also coordinate pizza & sodas for lunch.
Meet by the Cranes: Set Up starts at 9:00 AM, Coordination Meeting (with coffee and bagels) at 9:30 AM, Maintenance Tasks start at 10 AM.
If you have any cordless power tools such as drills, etc, please bring them. You never know if we will need an extra one or two.
Also, please be advised about the **MANDATORY** familiarization for Cruiser Skippers Interested in Sailing SCOW's New Cruiser "Hiatus".
At 2:00 pm on Saturday October 13 (immediately following Maintenance Day), there will be a brief familiarization seminar on G Dock for cruiser skippers interested in sailing Hiatus.
The familiarization is MANDATORY for cruiser skippers who would like to skipper the new boat (We'll keep a list of everyone who comes). Cruiser skippers will not be granted FACES privileges for Hiatus until they attend a familiarization.
If you have questions regarding the Mandatory familiarization, please contact Jonathan Thron at skipper@scow.org.
Regards,
Luis Rivas
