(Career Progress) Paid Canvass Opportunities for a Citywide Campaign in Washington DC-- HIRING IMMEDIATELY

 

    A citywide campaign in Washington DC has paid canvassing opportunities available for the duration of the election and GOTV. We are seeking canvassers, to help us mobilize voters during the next five weeks leading up to the November 4^th election.  This is a great opportunity for young people looking to get campaign experience in local, progressive politics.

 

Qualifications:

 

•   Vehicle ownership is not required but preferred

•   Must be at least 17 years old to apply

•   Physically able to walk neighborhoods for the duration of a four hour shift

•   Able to clearly articulate a candidate's message while sticking to a script

•   Able to engage voters in a positive and respectful way

•   Able to work as part of a field team

•   Willingness to learn data entry using VoteBuilder software

•   Previous campaign experience a plus

 

 

Salary: $10/hour

 

Hours: 11 - 3 & 4 - 8 PM on Saturday and Sunday

              4 - 8 PM on Monday-Friday

           GOTV Hours: TBA

 

      Canvassers must be able to work a majority of the hours offered for GOTV weekend.

 

Start Date: Start date of employment is ASAP.
