(Career Progress) [JOB] Program Coordinator - Marketing and Communications, Washington,DC $45,000

A dynamic nonpartisan organization is seeking to fill a Program Coordinator job in Washington DC, which will not only allow you to formulate marketing plans, but develop fundraising and membership campaigns as well. Interacting with members in the health care industry in a non-profit setting, you will be a key member for creating all public communication and directly influencing the growth of the organization.  The ideal candidate has natural creative energy to help shape their market strategy and the fast-paced drive to keep up with social media implementation.   If you have previous experience in copy writing, editing, fundraising, and social media, this position is not one to miss.

 

Program Coordinator Job Responsibilities:

·         Market research and message crafting in support of the membership department

·         Write press releases and create marketing copy

·         Assist with recruitment campaigns and donor development

·         Collaborate with others on the monthly magazine; regularly team up with the graphics staff

Qualifications:

·         Collaborative:  Able to interact with various staff and members to implement cross-department projects

·         New Media Savvy: demonstrated competency with social media platforms in a professional setting (preferably on behalf of a nonprofit organization)

·         Computer savvy: experienced managing web content and with CRM databases and comfortable quickly learning new programs or applications

·         Experience: 2-4 years of non-profit post-graduate experience and a bachelor's degree
