You know that RootsCamp is about sharing experiences, figuring out the next steps we take as a community, and learning from each other.
But RootsCamp is also a great networking opportunity, and the perfect place to find your next job! Every year, the RootsCamp Jobs Fair helps people find the next great gig. If you're looking for work, it's a great place to find it.
The Job Fair takes place from 12-3 PM on Saturday, December 1. You'll meet employers with current openings, network with campaigns and organizations that will be recruiting in the near future, make new friends and contacts, and grow your network. We already have representatives from dozens organizations signed up, and more joining every day. They'll be looking to hire their next rockstar, so bring your resume along.
Tips for potential job-hunters: bring your resume, dress casually, and have conversations with the people you want to meet. (And if you're an employer interested in participating, email us at jobs@neworganizing.com to get plugged in!)
