On May 6 the Hungarians are remembering and celebrating the first TANCHAZ [community folk-dance happening], which was organized exactly 40 years ago in Budapest. The New York  / New Jersey Hungarians remembered this important event on May 5 at 6:05 PM [already May 6 in Budapest] with staging a FLASH MOB, in front of the Metropolitan Museum, 82nd street and 5th  Ave. Last year the TANCHAZ Method received special recognition by UNESCO. Read more about it on: http://kalmanmagyar.com/blogroll/tanchaz-recognized-by-unesco/

Please forward this memo to your friends and press contacts, the TANCHAZ movement is an international phenomenon, which publicizes the beauty and importance of all folk cultures, specifically that of the Hungarians.
