Hi, I'm helping Azul find a Social Media Strategist to build and run their social media program and promote their brand by running high-impact, culturally relevant social media campaigns.
This position is a full-time, permanent role with a salary range of $65-85k. It is fully remote within the United States.
Azul is a Latinx-led and Latinx-serving environmental justice organization focused on ocean stewardship. Their work is guided by equity, social justice and intersectionality, and grounded in a community-centered theory of change.
Big picture, they're looking for someone who:
- Is fundamentally aligned with their mission, values and culture
- Has experience running social media campaigns in an organizational context and the skills and perspective necessary to build and run their social media program
- Is an entrepreneurial self-starter who knows how to make things happen
Spanish-language skills are a plus but by no means required. But having the cultural competency necessary to work well in diverse, majority-Latinx spaces is an absolute must.
