(Career Progress) Hiring: Fully Remote Roles in Development and Data Science at WorkMoney

Looking for folks ready to roll up their sleeves and jump in at a super dynamic advocacy startup.   • Development Director: In two years, WorkMoney's team and budget have grown 10X. Our compelling mission and impactful results have generated opportunities to further scale our work and team. We need a strategic director who can bring focus and rigor to our resource generation team. The Development Director position is a newly created role to develop the plan and structure needed to keep our development engine humming and on track to meet our ambitious goals. A successful candidate will be able to drive development success by organizing and optimizing every aspect of our development program, including deep support of our CEO. In this high-impact role, the Development Director will be able to use their deep experience to fully envision and create a best-in-class development program. The ideal candidate will have a proven-track record of mentorship, supervision, and building a collaborative team. Salary starts at 140K.
  • Data Engineer (Senior or Lead depending on experience)WorkMoney is looking for a Data Engineer to help upgrade our current environment and allow us to scale. We're planning significant investments in our web presence and our growth programs in the year ahead and need systems and databases that can grow with them. This role will support the data team in building the foundations for making smart data-informed decisions across platforms. Successful candidates will have experience with AWS environments, writing and optimizing SQL queries, and setting up prod and dev environments for both analytics and data science. We also need someone who can think big and strategically about what tools and platforms are necessary, and which can be automated away. This role will require you to move between in-the weeds requirement gathering/implementation and large scale strategy and design of a data ecosystem. Salary starting at 125K for Senior Data Engineer and 140K for Lead Data Engineer. 
  • Executive Coordinator: After just one year, our team has tripled in size and so too have our revenue targets. We remain scrappy in our approach, but recognize the crucial need for project coordination, organization, and systems to ensure our CEO and President & Chief of Staff have the support they need to focus on critical programmatic work. For this role, we are looking for someone with exemplary administrative, project, and principal management experience who is interested in working in a fast paced startup environment. The Executive Coordinator should be ready to manage and coordinate a number of core functions to support the CEO and President & Chief of Staff. Salary starts at $58,500.

  • Data Analyst: Our Data Science & Analytics team provides backbone data analysis and insights to teams engaging with members across multiple communications channels. As a department, our team is focused on creating dashboards and tools that help WorkMoney determine how meaningful and impactful our work is to our members. We build meaningful research, experimentation, a/b testing, continuous improvement, rigorous data analysis, and regular reporting to internal teams. The Data Analyst position is a newly created role to centralize and streamline internal processes for data requests, data sharing, and reporting. A successful candidate will have a customer service orientation and interest in creating data reporting tools that are easy to understand and interpret. Salary starts at $70K.

  • Director of Research & Experimentation:  We're planning significant investments in our test and learn program in the year ahead and need an expert who can design and execute research strategies that help us learn more about our audience, our brand, and our impact. The Director of Research and Experimentation is a newly created role to drive, test, and implement new programs that build trust with our members. The Director will have a deep commitment to continuous learning and have experience implementing trust-building programs that are cost-efficient, targeted, and measurably impactful. Successful candidates will have experience with issue advocacy or civic engagement, RCTs, and a strong stats background. Salary starts at 130K.
