It might be true, but what Lufthansa did was also a scam. You charge somebody's card without a bill, receipt or even the slightest notification. I called them, talked to at least 3 different managers and nobody apologized or even admitted any wrongdoing. Nor they offered any solution. They kept saying that they charged for the ticket and I will see they are right.. But I did not buy anything directly from them. I did not give my card information to them. This is what surprised me, not edreams. However I found the edreams ticket on many different search engines (kayak, booking.com), so we have to be very careful. I will definitely buy only directly from BA or Airfrance in the future, and will not travel by lufthansa for a while either. And everybody should pay by credit card only for big ticket items. I would not have got my money back if I had paid by debit.
Also, edreams is not on bbb. I could not leave a message about them

This means they are still in business somehow. I also posted negative review about them and also about Lufthansa at BBB. I was surprised to see how many negative reviews Lufthansa had in 2020.Sorry for the long story, I am only publishing it as a warning, so that we all have to be vigilante, double check our purchases, because even decent companies behave very badly during today economic situation.
