Hello Artists!
For those of you who are DC residents, please stay up-to-date which the city's covid relief efforts. DC Unemployment just announced a new program that any gig artists would benefit from. If you work a normal 9-5, but also work part-time to support yourself as an artist, you may qualify for the new MIXED EARNERS UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION program.

Also, the Entertainment Bridge Fund Supporting Business Program was re-opened as many gig workers complained about the restrictions that the original grant included. DMPED has re-opened applications and they are due this Friday, 2/12. This fund is $100 Million total.
Finally, many of you who file as artistic sole proprietors qualify for the new round of PPP funds. I just sat in on an update. $280 billion has been alloted and only about $73 billion has been claimed.
