Hi friends,
It looks to be dangerously hot outside today and this weekend. The forecast is for 103 tomorrow (!) and not much better until next Monday. It might be a good weekend to stay indoors and read Sailing Alone Around the World by Joshua Slocum, the first person to sail around the world alone. (The book is available as a free eBook). Here's a picture of Slocum's boat, Spray.
Another one that gets rave reviews is Two Years Before the Mast by Richard Henry Dana.
If you do head out, it might be worth reading up again on how to recognize heat exhaustion: (http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/heat-exhaustion) and heat stroke (http://www.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/heat-stroke-symptoms-and-treatment).
Cheers, and have fun!
