It's official: Emerge Maryland will be accepting applications for it's inaugural program beginning in September! Registered Democratic women interested in seeking an elected or appointed position will have from September 10 until November 16 to submit their application.The application will be made available online through a link on our website www.emergemaryland.org The classes, which will take place once a month on Saturdays and one full weekend during one month, will begin at the end of January (TBD) with graduation in June. Program participants will receive 70 hours of training over a 6 month period. We will be planning and holding regional informational events around the state for the purpose of spreading the word, answering your questions, and recruiting potential applicants.
