I don't post often, but thought some of you PR professionals might find this useful.

This is a chance to hear from three women who have experience working with VIPs, busy bosses and fast paced environments. Sound familiar? If you are looking for some tips on how to successfully manage VIPs or even just a demanding or challenging client or manager, this workshop might be for you. This is a women-only event.

The Art of Briefing and Managing Up
Studies have indicated that effective managers take time and effort to manage not only relationships with their subordinates, but also those relationships with their bosses.  By understanding how to effectively brief and staff your superiors, you are working to obtain the best possible results for you, your boss, and your organization.

This workshop will teach you some of these important skills such as adapting to your boss's leadership style, preparing them for high-profile briefings, and facilitating high-level performance that will help you in your current position or help you land your next dream job.

WHEN: Thursday, May 3rd, 6pm

WHERE: Clean Water America Alliance, 1816 Jefferson Place, NW, DC

Panel Speakers include women who have navigated work on the Hill or within agencies with high-level supervisors or political components.

  • Kathleen Frangione: Executive Vice President of McBee Strategic
  • Chani Wiggins: Principal at The Joseph Group
  • Laura Haynes: Environmental Legislative Assistant, Senator Thomas Carper (DE)
