To call a Hungarian land line or a U.S. land or cell line for free, I use voipbuster. Once I put some money on it (I think the minimum is 10 Euros), you can call Hungarian land lines for free for a year. Calling a Hungarian cell phone is about 20 Euro cents per minute. I use it from a computer, so I don't know if the rates are different calling from a cell.
