Under the general direction of the Political Director, the Political Organizer plans and assists in Union activities and achievement of Union objectives by means of governmental advocacy, grassroots education, community organizing and organizing member involvement. Participates in the evaluation and planning of the Union's legislative and political action programs. Extensive experience with lobbying, member involvement, organizing, political action and legislative advocacy required.

This includes but is not limited to execution and evaluation of NNU's legislative program, organizing membership involvement, and specifically promoting our agenda through the governmental and regulatory processes with testimony, and lobbying. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for the right person to make a real difference for healthcare justice.
