I am passing along information for any of you who may be seeking affordable rental housing in Washington, DC. Please read carefully. Again, please read carefully.
One of the new properties in my neighborhood (Navy Yard) has several affordable units available for rent. However, due to COVID, they are having issues filling the units with qualified renters.
Property: The Estate DC, www.estatedc.com
-The program/application requires a potential renter to show proof of income.
-Potential renter must not make more than the maximum yearly income allowed (the property will provide these details).
-If you are receiving unemployment with the $600/week federal addition, you may be over the limit
