Hi Lada,

Unless you returned your residency card (lakcím kártya) your Hungarian health insurance is still valid but probably with an outstanding balance. You can pay this by a simple transfer to NAV-s account.

Heads up! The Hungarian Health insurance card is not enough to be covered in the EU. You need to request a European Health Insurance card (free of charge), this can be done via https://magyarorszag.hu/.

We plan to move to one of the countries of EU. And I just red that Hungarian insurance is valid there.
