GALVANIZE: OUR TOWN – Baltimore Center Stage

 

Hey Galvanize!

 

It's Jeff Kirkman III, fellow member of Galvanize and currently working in the Artistic Producing department at Baltimore Center Stage.

 

I'm reaching out to invite you all to submit for audition materials for our upcoming production of Our Townby Thornton Wilder, directed by Stevie Walker-Webb. More information below!

 

Production Details:

First Rehearsal: August 16, 2022

Previews Begin: September 15, 2022

Opening: September 22, 2022

Closing: October 9, 2022

Contract: LORT B - $1008 per week

 

A note about casting:

This production of Our Town seeks to represent and celebrate the broad spectrum of those who make up our town, Baltimore. All roles are open, and we invite all actors who are game to be part of an intergenerational ensemble coming together to bring this timeless story home to submit. Actors with a hometown connection to Baltimore especially encouraged.

 

What should I submit?

 

We invite all actors to submit one minute of the content of their choosing in the format of their choosing.

 

For this virtual EPA, we welcome all forms of expression – poetry, monologues, scenes, songs, movement, etc. – whatever you feel best represents you and your work. More information
