Progressive Turnout Project (PTP) seeks applicants for the State Distributed Organizing Director role who will be responsible for executing the 2022 Distributed Organizing program in their assigned state during the midterm election cycle. This program will be modeled off of prior campaigns that have tried this form of organizing in past cycles including Beto O'Rourke's 2018 campaign in Texas and Elizabeth Warren's efforts in the 2020 presidential primaries.

Closer to Election Day, this role will be responsible for conducting daily onboarding sessions for the field representatives in their assigned state and ensuring they have the resources and tools they need to succeed in their fieldwork. Ultimately, this role will play a critical part in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding approximately 600 field representatives in your assigned state during the final weeks of the 2022 election.
In addition to the supervisory scope of this role, the State Distributed Organizing Director, will also be responsible for the management and implementation of all supply chains for physical materials and resources, training materials, and workflows that will make our distributed organizing fieldwork possible within your assigned state. The duties of this position are subject to modification in response to program or organizational needs.
This position will report directly to the Deputy Distributed Organizing Director. This position will be based within the assigned program state and some travel may be required within the state from the launch of the program through Election Day.
This position is eligible for benefits, including employer-sponsored health, dental, and vision insurance, FSA, 401(k), student loan repayment assistance, public transportation stipend (for HQ-based staff), paid time off, and paid holidays.
