Her persuasive science teacher tells her not to read into it, but as signs of death and ruin begin to appear around her, Jade fears for the safety of her twin brother, Kai, who almost lost his life during an eclipse eighteen years earlier. In a story told out of sequence, Kai tries to make sense of his place within a love triangle while Jade tries to make sense of her place within a collapsing universe. | | | Jazmyn D. Boone as Jade Jazmyn D Boone is a "small but mighty" NYC-based actor, singer, and filmmaker from Durham, NC. She attended the illustrious Spelman College in Atlanta, GA where she found her love for Eastern theatre forms. She is a graduate of The New School for Drama's MFA Acting program where she cultivated her collaborative theatre-making under industry professionals like Mfoniso Udofia, Peter Jay Fernandez, Stephen Brown-Fried, Daniel Alexander Jones, and many others. She is excited to continue creating theater in whatever form this pandemic allows. www.jazmyndboone.com | | Lau'rie Roach as Kai Lau'rie (Luh-Ree) Roach, or Re for short, is originally from Atlanta, GA, and graduated from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in NYC. In Atlanta, Re has worked with the Alliance Theatre, True Colors Theatre Company, and the Vanguard Repertory Company. Other regional theatres include the North Carolina Black Repertory Company. Some film credits include This World Alone and Po Psi Broke. These films have won multiple awards in various destinations such as Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Italy! Re is thrilled to be working with the Transformation Theatre team and the cast of this play. | | | Ariana Perez as Elle Ariana Pérez is an artist born and raised in Hudson County, New Jersey. Currently a rising second-year student at the NYU Tisch School of the Arts, studying Drama at the New Studio on Broadway, Pérez is passionate about creating art that amplifies and celebrates the voices of underrepresented and misrepresented communities. Some past credits include: Orange Is the New Black (Netflix, S7E5), Divorce (HBO, S3E5), Evita (High Tech High School), and West Side Story (Bergen PAC). | | Nicholas Capriotti as Lucas Nicholas Capriotti, a native of Pennsylvania, started his journey as an actor at 18 years old when he moved to New York City to start his education in performance. He studied acting at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts at both their New York and Los Angeles campus. After graduation, Nicholas knew he wanted to be back in his East Coast roots as a New York based performer, where he could balance Theatre and Film!
