Salute to Vienna concerts welcome winners of the

Virtuózok Classical Music Competition

Attila Glatz Concert Productions is pleased to collaborate with the famous Hungarian television show Virtuózok. This classical music televised competition has proven to be a huge success for Hungarian television; the musical talents discovered have mesmerized television viewers throughout Hungary and beyond. More than an entertaining talent show, Virtuózok has great cultural significance, bringing classical music into the limelight and re-introducing great classical music composers' work to young audiences.

 

Attila Glatz Concert Productions will present four winners of this competition at four of its 23 Salute to Vienna performances in North America this New Year's season, supporting the next generation of talented, dedicated musicians. Pianist Boros Mihály will play Haydn in New York, clarinettist Lugosi Dániel Ali will perform a movement of Mozart's stunning clarinet concerto in Miami, pianist Gyöngyösi Ivett will play in Toronto, and accordionist Demeniv Mihály will play in Los Angeles. Salute to Vienna celebrates 20 years of New Year's tradition, rounding off the holiday season with entertaining concerts in 23 North American cities. More than 40,000 concert-goers will party like it's 1899 between December 28 and January 4, when Salute to Vienna will kick off 2015 in the 80-year old tradition of Vienna's world famous "Neujahrskonzert". With these critically acclaimed concerts, audiences will be transported to Vienna—the "City of Dreams".
