[Unicum] Hungarian Language Classes for Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced

The Kossuth Foundation, the successor nonprofit organization to a Hungarian-based beneficial life insurance company, is starting up adult Hungarian language classes in the DC area. We have an established advanced class and are hoping to start a beginners and intermediate class depending on the level of interest. Fees are very reasonable and based on the number of students and the number of classes we are able to offer. The prices have been $140 for a seven session class (two meetings a month) and $240 for a weekly 12 week course, plus the cost of books. Classes meet in the evening for approximately 2.5 hours each.

 

Please let me know if you are interested in either taking one of the classes or if you have language teaching experience and would like to apply for one of the instructor positions. We also are looking for places to host on an interim basis – ideally near a metro station. Eventually, we hope to resume classes in the Kossuth House at DuPont Circle. Magyar nyelvórákat indít felnőttek számára Washington környékén a Kossuth Alapítvány, az Amerikai Magyar Református Egyesület utódjaként létrejött nonprofit szervezet. A haladó csoport jelenleg is működik, és reményeink szerint - az érdeklődők számától függően - hamarosan kezdő és közép-haladó osztályokat is indíthatunk. A nyelvtanfolyam ára igen jutányos és a tanulók illetve az osztályok számától függ. Korábban az árak a következőképpen alakultak: 140 dollár/7 óra (havi két tanóra), 240 dollár/12 óra (heti egy tanóra), illetve a könyvek ára. A mintegy 2 és fél órás nyelvórákat esténként tartjuk.

 

Ha részt kíván venni a nyelvtanfolyamon vagy nyelvtanítási tapasztalattal jelentkezne valamelyik tanári pozícióra, kérem jelentkezzen.

Emellett metróhoz közel eső, átmeneti helyszínt is keresünk a nyelvórák számára, de reményeink szerint a jövőben újra a Dupont Circle-nél lévő Kossuth ház ad majd otthont a tanfolyamoknak. Ha bármilyen kérdése van, vagy akár tanulóként, akár tanárként érdeklődik, kérem jelentkezzen.
