Hungary dominate day four at the 2013 ICF Canoe Sprint World
Championships in Duisburg, Germany with an astonishing tally of ten
medals from ten finals.
The power and technique of the world's most dominant paddling nation
was clinically demonstrated as each of the ten podium presentations on
day four included an athlete from the eastern-European powerhouse. Out
of the ten, five were Gold, which just trumped the host nations four.
In the absence of any of the 2011 World Championship finalists, this
year's K1 Women 1000m provided the opportunity for a new champion to
be crowned. It was the 25-year-old Hungarian, Erika Medveczky that was
the quickest....
