Tükrös Band was formed in 1986. The band has toured throughout Europe, the United States and Australia with various dance ensembles. They regularly play in Hungary at major traditional music festivals and events. In 2001 the band was awarded the distinction of 'Young Masters of Folk Arts'. The group's line-up of violins, violas, double bass, cimbalom (cymbal) and vocals will transport you into the village lives of the films Gadjo Dilo and Latcho Drom. Perhaps Béla Bartók described it best; "beautiful to the ear, beautiful to the eye."

Dancers:  Norbert Busai was accepted in the World-famous Budapest Ensemble at the early age of nineteen. In 1997 he received the Young Master Artist Award, and graduated from the Hungarian Folk Dance Academy in 2011. Zsuzsanna Busai was a member of the Budapest Ensemble. Since 2003 she has been a member of the Jaszsag Folk Ensemble. In 2001 she received the Young Master Artist Award.

Táncház to follow: Word for word, táncház means dance house, so it stands for a house where people dance. Our ancestors' only possibility for amusement within their community was dancing and music. People in villages celebrated with dancing on holidays and occasions like saint's name day, marriage, sheep measuring at spring, harvest, grape picking, etc. The Carpathian Basin still keeps an extremely rich cultural heritage, all those colors added thank to its national, ethnic and religious diversity. Our performing dancers will teach you the basic Hungarian Folk Dance steps. We guarantee that you will have an incredible time during and after the concert!
