For children age 6 – 12 When: July 15-19, 2013 Each day from 9 AM to 5 PM Location: Balatonboglár, Hungary Our native English language teachers understand the challenges of learning English as a second language and have designed a program that makes learning fun for kids. During this summer camp, children will learn English while playing sports, singing, swimming, participating in outdoor activities and socializing with each other and the English speaking teachers and coaches. As a counselor, your task and responsibilities will be to create interesting programs for the kids, to supervise their activity and to introduce them to your country and culture in a playful environment. All communication will be in English, although Hungarian and English speaking counselors will be present as well, should you or the kids need translation in some cases. | We believe that physical activity is an important part of the development of children. Kids can develop and learn co-operation, develop motor-skills, and build confidence through participating in various sports activities. We put an emphasis on teamwork and fair play while developing an understanding of sport fundamentals and building new skills. Balaton offers a perfect, pleasant environment for water sports and other outdoor activities. This is a volunteer position but we will provide you with comfortable accommodation at the local college in rooms with twin beds and 3 meals per day.
