Civic Nation is currently seeking a Program Assistant for its End Rape On Campus (EROC) initiative. The Program Assistant, reporting to EROC'S Program Manager, will provide administrative and programmatic support for EROC's Centering the Margins programs: Student Survivor Caucus (SSC) and Speaker Series. The Program Assistant will be responsible for assisting with the program planning and coordination of these programs, including planning and facilitation of SSC's bi-monthly meetings and helping the Year-2 cohort with developing and executing their action plan. This person will assist with content ideas and creation for EROC's social media and promotion of CTM programs and perspectives.
OVERVIEW OF END RAPE ON CAMPUS
EROC works to end campus sexual violence through direct support for survivors and their communities, prevention through education, and policy reform at the campus, local, state, and federal levels. EROC envisions a world where each individual has an educational experience free from violence, and until then, all survivors are believed, trusted, and supported.
EROC is a national leader in issues of sexual violence in educational settings and works across numerous tactical areas of efforts to end sexual violence, including but not limited to rapid response, advising on state and federal policy, driving communications strategy around key issues, conducting groundbreaking research and providing resources for survivors, direct services, and more. EROC's work is driven by its Centering the Margins framework, which aims to address and fill the disparity of resources among different communities, with the intention of centering historically excluded and systemically marginalized student survivors.
