[Unicum] IT SEEMS THAT ENIKO BASA on this ListServe--AND WHO KNOWS HOW MANY OTHERS-- WAS HACKED--DO NOT RESPOND TO AN E-MAIL THAT WAS SENT IN HER NAME

Today I received an e-mail that I know Eniko Basa would NOT have sent. It

reads: "How are you doing? Actually, I need a favor from you. I'd appreciate if you could email me back when you get this.

Thanks

Eniko"

DO NOT RESPOND TO THAT E-MAIL. IT'S FROM A SCAMMER, not Eniko. If you answer it, the scammer can steal your identity. All a hacker needs to steal your identity and then take money from your bank account, open mortgages and other accounts in your name, etc., is TWO bits of identification: your name and e-mail address, or your name and mailing address, or any combination of personal data. Just two. That's how good they are.

And Eniko, change your password immediately. Nowadays the scammers can crack a 12-character password, therefore EVERYONE needs to have a minimum of 13 characters in their password. Preferably your password should consist of numbers, letters and special characters.
