Where: The Avalon, located just south of Chevy Chase Circle at 5612 Connecticut Avenue NW, between McKinley and Northampton Streets. (See public transportation accessibility below. If arriving by car, there is no dedicated lot; street parking only, so give adequate time.)

Ticket Price: Admission: $13.00 Adults, $10.00 Matinee Bargain Shows, $10.50 Students, $10.50 Seniors (62+), $10.50 Children (12 & under) and Military, $9.00 Avalon Members, $8.00 Seniors who are Avalon Members.
Same rates apply to Wednesday Signature Series programs. Weekend Family Matinees, Exhibition on Screen and Special Event ticket prices vary, and senior discounts may not be available for these programs.

**COVID seating--Please note: The Avalon is limiting capacity to 30% on weekdays (Mon-Thu) and 50% on weekends (Fri-Sun)**

Public Transportation:
The Avalon Theatre is accessible using the Metrorail and Metrobus system.

The closest Metrorail station is the Friendship Heights station on the Red Line. At Friendship Heights, transfer to the E2, E3, E4, or E6 bus, which will drop you a half-block from the Theatre at the corner of McKinley St. and Connecticut Ave. Alternatively, the Avalon is a short 15-minute walk from the Friendship Heights station.

If you are coming from points South on Connecticut Avenue, other buses which will drop you off right in front of the Avalon are the L1, L2, and L4.
