(Career Progress) Production Assistant (Part-Time) at Chamber Hill Strategies

Chamber Hill Strategies (www.chamberhill.com), a boutique public policy consulting firm, is looking to hire a part-time Production Assistant for its daily health policy subscription service, PolicyCrush, (www.policycrush.com).

About PolicyCrush

PolicyCrush is a daily email report that provides subscribers with the top health policy developments from the previous 24 hours. The report, published Monday through Friday, covers the hottest topics in health policy including the U.S. Congress and the Administration, Health Insurance, Health Information Technology, Medicaid and Children's Health Insurance Program, Medicare, Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices, and Quality and Innovation.

PolicyCrush uses a proprietary search process to obtain and alert subscribers to difficult-to-find federal government announcements and little-reported analytical pieces from think-tanks, stakeholders and policy influencers. Subscribers include health care providers and companies across the country, law firms and lobbying shops, trade associations, and health care consulting firms.

Position Description

Chamber Hill Strategies is looking to hire a Production Assistant to help with the daily content development and production of PolicyCrush. The Production Assistant will be responsible for following a detailed search process to locate all relevant documents for the following day's report and using our online email service to write and design the daily report. While the work can be completed on your own schedule throughout the day, at least one hour needs to occur after 4 PM and all work must be completed by 6 PM. The work will not require an on-site presence and can be completed offsite with a reliable Internet connection. This position is ideal for a full- or part-time graduate student who is looking for part-time work to engage in health policy.  Ideally, the selected candidate would be able to start by September 1, 2019.

This position could provide an excellent start for someone looking to begin a career in public policy or health policy specifically. It will provide a means to become actively engaged in daily health policy developments and to work for an established health policy consulting firm.
