Year Up NCR is launching its first-ever Young Professionals Network (YPN).

·         Network with top partners, like-minded peers, senior professionals, and even mentor up-and-coming young leaders, &

·         Sharpen your skill set and be on the top of your game!

Year Up raises low-income young adults from poverty to professional careers in top companies in only one year. After a rigorous application process, our young adults are trained in information technology, professional skills, life skills, financial literacy and obtain college credits as well as corporate internships at top companies such as NASA, AOL, and Sidley Austin, LLP.

We are an organization that believes in measurable outcomes.  Four months after students graduate we expect 85% of the class to be enrolled in a higher education institution full time or have a job paying $15/hr. or $30,000.  Since the site has opened in the National Capital Region more than 700 alumni have graduated.  We are seeing neighborhoods and families literally transform.  Watch as our Year Up students describe their program experience and stories.
