[Unicum] Graduate Student Research Question re. Hungarian Investment

Subject:  Student Research re Crowdfunding Platform in Hungary

We are a group of graduate students at American University, School of International Service.  We are working on a project for a Hungarian Government agency related to alternative funding sources for Hungarian start-ups, specifically crowdfunding.

We are curious to hear about your initial reactions to a Hungarian crowdfunding platform.

Would you be inclined to invest in or donate to a Hungarian start-up?  Would you be more inclined to invest in a start-up business on a Hungarian platform than a start-up on a platform with a greater international presence, such as Kickstarter?  What would draw you to invest in a start-up on a crowdfunding platform?

We appreciate any input on this issue, whether responding to the specific questions or not.  Please feel free to contact us at jrdpietro@gmail.com (Jessica) to talk via email or set-up a time to meet, whichever is most convenient.

Thank you,

Federico, Desiree, & Jessica
