[Unicum] Linguaphile Adventure 2026, free online language conference, Sat. Oct. 24 - Sun. Oct. 25, 2026

As a lifelong learner of languages, including Hungarian, I am helping plan Linguaphile Adventure, a FREE virtual event for language lovers on Saturday, October 24 – Sunday, October 25 from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM PDT (10:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST), and we'd love for you to join!

🌍 Whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or fluent speaker, all levels are welcome! 

Here is what we have lined up:

• Presentations – short talks given by learners of various languages (if you are learning a language, like Hungarian, this could include you! See below for info), presentations of between 30-60 minutes on a language-related topic (if you are interested in speaking, see below for the contact person!)
  
  
• Short Courses – learn the basics of various languages
  
  
• Chat rooms – practice languages with other learners and native speakers, or just listen if you are considering learning that language
  
  
• Games – fun-filled activities which allow you to use the language skills you have acquired
  
  
• and much, much more!
  
  

🌎 If you are currently learning a language, we would love for you to give a short talk of up to 15 minutes in the language! (Fun fact: I gave a talk in Hungarian last year about my memories of teaching English in Hungary & a presentation on the basics of Hungarian!) It's a great opportunity to practice speaking in a supportive & non-judgmental environment.
