Join us for an evening of discovery as we delve into the daily life, challenges, and resilience of this remarkable region. This special presentation will be led by Vivien Bence, a Fellow of the Hungarian Human Rights Foundation, who hails from Transcarpathia. Vivien will share her personal experiences and insights, offering an authentic look at a region deeply affected by war and turmoil. Her stories will provide a rare, firsthand glimpse into the daily lives of people striving to maintain hope and unity amid hardship. She is from Sub-Carpathia, Ukraine and earned a Master's degree in International Communication from Uzhorod/Ungvár National University in 2019. For several years, she worked with local organizations in Sub-Carpathia that support the ethnic Hungarian community.
