(Career Progress) JOB: Two digital roles @ Global Wave Digital (DC or Remote)

Hi, I'm helping Global Wave Digital fill two digital roles: Digital Campaigns Director ($100-120k) and Digital Strategist ($65-85k)

Global Wave Digital is a boutique digital agency established in 2013 with a mission of empowering groups all across the world to build and lead powerful movements for social change.

Since their founding, they've provided digital advocacy strategy, digital campaign development, technical assistance and capacity building to movements on the ground in 70+ countries working in the areas of human rights, social good, and public health.

From climate change and reproductive rights to epidemic preparedness and road safety, they get to work with and support bold, effective social movements taking on big, consequential fights.

Here's a summary of the roles. Please reach out if you're interested or have any questions:

#1: Digital Campaigns Strategist (Remote) -- $100-120k

What you'd do: Help social movements around the world leverage digital tools to drive social change.

This will involve developing and managing digital campaign strategy and managing client relationships. In addition, this role will include providing technical assistance and capacity-building support so groups on the ground can reach their advocacy goals.

This would be a good fit for: A well-rounded digital strategist with deep experience managing digital advocacy campaigns (including, but not exclusively, those that involve both organic and paid social) and some kind of experience that clearly demonstrates their ability to manage advocacy clients in an agency setting.

Extra bonus points for: Experience working with youth movements and/or on gender justice issues or public health issues using a gender framework (e.g. reproductive rights, sexual health, gender-based equity, etc.).

#2: Digital Strategist (Remote) -- $65-85k

What you'd do: Roughly 70% of the work is executing digital advertising campaigns (with an emphasis on running paid social campaigns) along with some reporting and analytics work. The remaining 30% is a combination of other functions that support Global Wave Digital's work.

This role would be a great fit for: An early-to-mid career digital campaign strategist with consulting experience who understands both social media and the nitty gritty of digital ad campaigns, and is excited to apply their expertise to different political systems and governments globally.

For both roles, there is a preference for someone located in the DC metropolitan area (working either out of a WeWork office or remotely from a home office), but candidates who would like to work remotely from another location will be considered provided they are willing to travel to DC on a bi-monthly or quarterly basis.

Finally, for both roles, any additional language skills of at least professional working proficiency would be a big plus, as would having a strong cultural connection to or relevant experience living or working in: East or West Africa, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Latin America or Eurasia.
