Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated / Omicron Lambda Alpha Chapter presents The OLA Film Festival.
The OLA Film Festival is a showcase and competition highlighting the work of amateur and student filmmakers across the country. The goal of the festival is to offer support to emerging artists by providing a platform to display their work to the public.
-The OLA Film Festival will feature short films from African American directors and/or directors of African descent. Films should be between 5 and 25 minutes in length, including credits. Entries must be completed projects with proper sound, color correction, and editing BEFORE submission.
-Films should be submitted electronically via filmfreeway.com.
-All film genres are accepted.
In its inaugural year (2020), the OLA Film Festival will be the first of its kind hosted by an alumni fraternal chapter in the National Pan-Hellenic Council community.
$500 - First place
Best Film in the Festival
Additional Awards and Certificates will be awarded to participants in the festivals.
