We are gearing up for the talk by Marianne Szegedy-Maszak on her book, I Kiss Your Hands Many Times, and the story of her parents with the background of World War II.   This is a fundraiser for the International Affairs section of the club, and I am copying the reservation information below.

 

Mon, Nov 6 INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS FUNDRAISER LUNCHEON: Auditorium, 12noon. Guest speaker Marianne Szegedy- Maszak will speak on parent’s life changing experiences as Jews and diplomats in Hungary before, during after WWII. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED – RSVP DEADLINE: Wed, Nov 1. RSVP to Andrea Sherman @ alprms@gmail.com . Reservations are considered firm when made; if you make a reservation and did not cancel by the RSVP date, you are still expected to pay. Cost $25.00. Checks payable to ‘WCCC’ may be left in the box in the office (please write “Int’l Affairs” on the memo line), or you may pay at the door.
