Dear Tony,
I consulted the Hungarian Association of Mangalica Breeders and they recommended that you liaise with fine dining restaurants and premium hotels regarding placing product in the Midwest.
Would you like to reach out to the Hungarian community please feel free to approach chicagohungarians@yahoogroups.com (when the product is ready J).
Good luck with your new venture,
Best regards,
Andras

Subject: [Unicum] Hi, We will be raising Mangalica pigs in Wisconsin next year
Hi,
My family is Hungarian American. We own a small 40 acre place in SW Wisconsin. We are planning to start a small pasture raised pig herd. We are planning to raise Mangalica pigs. I would like to ask the Hungarian List community if they would know anyone in Wisconsin or perhaps in Chicago who might be interesting in buying these types of pigs.
Do you think there would be a market for these types of pigs? I have heard great things about this breed. We plan to start with a couple sows and a boar and go from there.
Thanks for the help,
Tony
