Position Title: Executive Assistant to the President & CEO

Department: Office of the President & CEO

 

Primary Role

The Executive Assistant to the President & CEO is responsible for the overall administrative operations of the Office of the President. This includes coordinating with all members of staff and vendors on various projects, briefs, profiles, in addition to administrative support. In coordination with the Chief of Staff & Vice President of Strategy, the Executive Assistant will oversee the management of operations and direction of the organization through executing tasks given by the President & CEO.

                                                        

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

-          Operate as the confidential administrative support, gatekeeper, and primary point of contact for internal and external communications with other members of staff, the Board of Directors, Members of Congress, heads-of-state, Corporate Partner Members (CPM's), Hispanic Owned Business Enterprises (HBE's), local chambers of commerce and there executives, partners and prospective partners, civic organizations, special interest groups and associations.

-          Facilitate high level meetings with executives from corporate America and all over the United States, especially in Washington, D.C.

-          Produces information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting text, data, and graphics.

-          Conserves executive's time by reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.

-          Maintains executive's appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and booking all travel.

-          Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

-          Occasional travel required.

Knowledge and Skills

-          Proficient in Microsoft Office Operating System and all of its programs, especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.  

-          Demonstrated problem solving and people skills.

-          Strong communications skills.

-          Strong attention to detail.


Position Salary

$45,000    non-negotiable
