Kids Euro Festival:
European Culture and Fine Arts for Any Age
October 24 - November 9, 2014
Children in the Washington DC metro area can experience European culture and performing arts during the Kids Euro Festival. This annual festival transforms the capital region into a Europe-inspired action-packed cultural adventure for young people and their families, with no passport required.
The 7th Kids Euro Festival starts on October 24 and runs through November 9. It features over 100 free performances, showcasing the diverse cultures of the European Union's 28 countries. Artists include many of Europe's most talented performers for children in family-friendly and imaginative shows that include theater, dance, music, film screenings, and more.
The European Union Delegation to the United States and EU embassies in DC have partnered with over 30 American cultural institutions to host the performances. The newly established European-American Cultural Foundation brought this highly popular festival to life with its generous support.
While all of the performances are free, some require reservations, which can be made at the Kids Euro Festival website: www.kidseurofestival.org
