Progressive Majority is a national organization dedicated to recruiting and
electing candidates who will fight for a broad progressive economic and
social agenda. Progressive Majority identifies and recruits progressive
champions to run for state and local office and provides them with the
comprehensive, political, and technical assistance they need to run
competitively.
*Progressive Majority is currently seeking quality candidates for the
position of Fellow at its headquarters in Washington, DC.*
*Position Summary***
Learn the behind-the-scenes of a successful political organization that
recruits and supports progressive candidates for office. We're looking for
an fellow who is passionate about progressive politics and wants to work in
an organization that elects progressive champions across the country.
You'll get a front row seat on how progressives can take back state
legislatures and local offices.
The Fellow will report to the Executive Director to plan and execute
projects and:
· Assist in developing fundraising and marketing materials;
· Manage the President's fundraising and development efforts;
· Support candidate recruitment and training efforts;
· Process into NGP contributions from donors;
· Build and maintain candidate and partner database;
· Schedule meetings and phone calls with partners for the
President and Executive Director;
· General administrative office responsibilities;
· Perform additional duties as assigned.
*Qualifications Required*
· Motivated self-starter and able to work well without
constant supervision
· Interest in progressive issues, electoral politics, and
candidate development
· Excellent communication, outreach, phone and interpersonal
skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office
· Experience with NGP is preferred but not required
· Graphic design or Social media experience is a plus

Stipend varies based on experience
